Plattsburgh Insulation was founded in 2020 by a team that grew up in the North Country and knew firsthand how brutal a Clinton County winter can be. Heating bills that climb from October through April, ice dams forming on roofs after a heavy snow, and older homes built long before anyone thought seriously about energy efficiency - these were problems we saw in our own neighborhoods and wanted to fix the right way.

Plattsburgh has real character. From the older homes near the Lake Champlain waterfront to the postwar neighborhoods out toward the former air base, this housing stock tells the story of a community that has been here a long time. A lot of those homes have insulation that has not been touched in decades - or was never adequate to begin with. That is where we come in.

Since 2020, we have worked on homes and businesses throughout Plattsburgh and the surrounding area, helping homeowners cut heating costs, stop moisture problems before they become serious, and make their homes genuinely comfortable through a long North Country winter. We are locally owned, locally operated, and plan to stay that way.
